Research Projects

As a project leader, she held 8 vertical projects including a National Social Science Fund Project, a Humanities and Social Science Fund Youth Project of the Ministry of Education, a General Social Science Fund Project of Hubei Province, a Key Project of Ideological and Political Education for Postgraduates of Hubei Province, an Independent Innovation Fund Project of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, a Huazhong Think Tank Special Project of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and two Joint Construction Projects of Huazhong University of Science and Technology.

The recruitment of students information:

2-4 full-time masters or masters, part-time masters, with backgrounds in journalism, advertising, publishing or other cross-professionals (such as sociology, linguistics, English, computer, etc.) , are enrolled per year. Students who interested in some research fields will be welcomed, such as media advertising and public relations, artificial intelligence and digital publishing, smart brand communication, ceremony communication, and media ceremony.

During the postgraduate period, students mainly participate in the research projects of supervisors and research groups, with academic ability improving through the research projects. The research team carries out a research plan of "one-to-one" and "passing on experience" in order to realize the old leading the new. Students participate in academic discussions and reading clubs regularly, and take part in research projects. And students are also encouraged to join academic conferences and related industry learning and practicing. What’s more, special research funds will be set for students' research awards.
