Zhan Jian, Chair of the SJIC Committee of HUST, said that in the field of journalism teaching, HUST has always been at the forefront of the industry and is forward-looking. As early as in 1998, HUST hasestablished the major of network communication with great prescience, and at the beginning of 2000, it founded the first class of news comments in China, which was the first news comment club in China's universities, and the club developed into the criticism clublater… This has become a widely praised “Huazhongda model” of journalism teaching. It is also a forward-looking action that both sides set up Chutian Network Comment Training Base. Especially in the current situation of multiple news sources, valuable voices are especially important, and people with ideas to express themselves are in short supply.

At the same time, Zhan Jian also mentioned that HUST will gather the most powerful forces to design and develop specific courses for Chutian Network Comment Training Base.
