DuringMarch 29^thto March 30^th, our secretary of the Party Committee Jian Zhan, deputy Party secretary Yuzhu Ming, associate professor Shiyong Gan and counselors of journalism and information communication school, 5 people in total, visited several well-known enterprises in the city of Guangzhou. They were expected to visit some alumni and trainees working there, and make some arrangements about some possible school-enterprise cooperation as well.

On March 29^th, they came to Guangdong Advertising Group Co.,Ltd(GIMC), to see three students from our school who were now working there as trainees.The visit team was given a warm reception by the vice president of GIMC, Zhi Yuan, and vice general manager, Ming Xu, who was also a graduate of our journalism and information communication school.All of them had a good talk about corporate development and personnel cultivation.

Their next stop was Nanfang Media Group.On the morning of March 30^th, they met the deputy editor of Nanfang, Genghui Wang, who also served as the deputy Party secretary of this giant media group.The human resources director Xiaoyun Li and a dozen of our alumni also joined in the talk about training and cultivation of news communication personnel.

In the afternoon, the school’s visit team arrived at NetEase and called on our undergraduate trainees Weiwen Lu, Yubing Xing, and some other alumni as well. In the meantime, they discussed the possibilities of the cooperation between HUST and NetEase in the following years.

During the visit in Guangzhou, they were also invited to pay a visit to Guangzhou Southern Metropolis Weekly Media and Wise Media. It is worth noting that the latter one was established by our alumni. Jian Zhan and our visit team paid great concerns and interests to the business-building journey of Wise Media, and sincerely shew the alumni that Wuhan would always be their sweet home waiting for them to come back at any time.
