In the recently released Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Education on the announcement of the list of National and Provincial First-class Undergraduate Professional Construction Point in 2020 (Higher Education Department Letter No.7, 2021), Huazhong University of Science and Technology has added 27 new National First-class Undergraduate Professional Construction Point and 11 new Provincial First-class Undergraduate Professional Construction Point.Among them, the Television Broadcasting Science Major of the SJIC has been newly added into the National First-class Undergraduate Professional Construction Point, and the Communication Major has been selected into the Provincial First-class Undergraduate Professional Construction Point.

Before that, the Journalism Major of our School has been selected into the National First-class Undergraduate Program Construction point in 2019, and the Television Broadcasting Science Major has been selected into the Provincial First-class Undergraduate Professional Construction Site.Up to now, our School has two National First-class Undergraduate Professional Construction Points and two Provincial First-class Undergraduate Professional Construction Points.
